Abstract

Purpose. The article reveals the psychological content of the functional limits of infantilism in a life crisis. The purpose of the presented material is theoretical grounding and modelling of functional limits of infantilism in a life crisis. Methods. The study is based on theoretical methods: analysis and generalization of scientific sources on the issues of infantilism studying and life crisis experiencing and psychological modelling as a reproduction of infantilism functional limits essence in a life crisis. Results. Theoretical explication of the psychological phenomenon of a life crisis and indication of specific symptoms of infantilism are the main results. The theoretical model of infantilism functional limits in a life crisis has been proposed, in which four ontological fields of experiencing critical situations ("vitality", "particular life attitude", "inner world" and "life as integrity") are singled out. The functional content of infantilism manifestation (needs streamlining, choosing the optimal way of achievement, consideration of internal coherence of opportunities, reflexive and semantic consolidation of life realization) is defined in each of them. It is noted that the main issue of violation of infantilism functional limits starts in the vitality zone, which leads to the general delay in transition to reflexive and semantic zones of life realization of a personality and is reflected in immaturity of Self-complex. Conclusions. It is stated in conclusions, that modelling of infantilism functional limits in a life crisis opens scientific space of methodological analysis of infantilism issue in characteristics of reintegration of Self-complex from vital attributes to the ontology of reflexive and semantic transformations of a personality.
