Scientific and practical importance of the problem of moral development of a personality has been disclosed in the article. An individual should be educated not only as a carrier of a certain amount of knowledge, but also as a real citizen with own inherent morality, high culture of work and behavior. Therefore, the issue of personality development of a schoolchild and creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of a child’s high morality becomes particularly relevant. Moral feelings like all other psychic phenomena of a junior school age child are formed in the course of its educational, playing and working activities. Emotions in relation to other people are the basis for the formation of many child’s moral feelings. The analysis of the experimental research results showed that the development of moral behavior of schoolchildren can be successfully carried out under the certain psychological and pedagogical factors, in particular, such as: 1) social need and necessity for personality’s activity, determined by the creation of such conditions for educational activities and communication, in which a schoolchild is a real subject of own activity; 2) possibility of personality’s self-realization in the system of interrelations «teachers-schoolchild», «parents-schoolchild», «schoolchild-schoolchild», 3) character of emotional attitude towards school, surrounding; 4) comfort and confidence of a schoolchild in the process of educational activity and interpersonal communication. For effective management of the process of junior children morality formation, the pedagogue’s influence should be directed both at the development of age determinants of the moral values formation and implementation of such psychological and pedagogical conditions, that would stimulate free manifestation of moral views in educational activity. Thus, elucidation of the problem of morality specificity is the theoretical key that enables to cover the general uniqueness of morality – the phenomenon of both personality and society. It is also important to raise such issues because they are actual in the context of pedagogical psychology, in particular, in organization of educational process, as well as considerable number of questions in psychology that need to be solved, is exactly the moral and the spiritual problem.
