Concept Design of the Professional Future for Servicemen – Participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation by Means of Psychological Support

The article is devoted to the study of concept design of the professional future for servicemen – participants of the anti-terrorist operation by means of psychological support as a component related to officers’ establishing their place in life, acquisition of the certain stable system of values which characterize officers’ attitude toward surrounding world and serves as behavior regulators and become apparent in activity. It is determined that in professional activity of officers-participants of the anti-terrorist operation psychological support is the meaningful factor of their motivational potential increase. It is reasonable to project the officers’ concept of their professional future with the help of the motivational training. The training program based upon the general training theory in its structure contains theoretical and practical parts and consistently solves the following tasks: 1) forming officers’ theoretical constituent about the role of motivation in the professional activity and training expectations; 2) signification of semantic components development level regarding officers’ professional motivation; 3) forming and development of professional motivation on the basis of psycho-didactic means which provide strengthening of incentive constituent in the officers’ conduct. The performance of the proper task anticipated group discussion of professional problem situations solution; 4) projecting methods of participants’ co-operation in training, their roles and outlining the conditions which assist officers’ professionalism development. The experiment results analysis shows training efficiency. Empiric indexes evaluation of professional motivation of experimental and control groups indicates statistically meaningful differences according to most indexes. Such results showed that the motivational training is the effective means of officers’ development striving for individual and professional growth, development of perspective aims of professional activity, making adequate professional self-appraisal etc.
