Abstract

In the article it was attempted to realize theoretical and practical bases of social expectations of the personality as a process of mental regulation of behavior. It was determined the following structural components: “expected environment”, “expected element”, “expected situation”, “expected demand” that constitute the investigated phenomenon. The attention is focused on social expectations of the personality, taking into account the individual as a source of identity and social media expectations. Theoretically exposed the essence of personality realization of social expectations, construction of model of expected future and it is shown that they are the properties of social expectations of the personality it is. Determined that the role of social expectations of the personality lies not in setting goals, and the construction of model of expected future, in order to be able to hold a constructed model in the field of attention, monitor achievement of goals and move continuously to the final result. It was constructed a functional scheme of social expectations of individual relationship with other processes of mental regulation of behavior. It is established that the individual social expectations, providing so-called “arbitrary regulation” of purposeful behavior, act as a function control and they are in close contact with the individual motivational activity. The conditions under which is the formation of social expectations is realised construction of model of expected future itself were detected. It is indicated that the model is able to represent expected future social and psychological reality. It is focused that through a model of expected future personality constructs not only his future, but affects social and psychological reality.
