Author Guidelines

Psychological Prospects is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly periodical indexed and listed in international databases in the field of social sciences, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science as a specialized journal where the results of the theses for obtaining the degrees of Doctor and Ph.D. (Candidate) of psychological sciences can be published.

The editorial board of Psychological Prospects Journal invites you to send your paper for publishing in the Journal. The editorial board will review the papers and inform the author(s) about any decision. The editorial board will be responsible for the publication reserving the right of requesting the author(s) for modifications. Only papers in Ukrainian, English, Russian are accepted. The originals must meet the following requirements:

FORMAT /LENGTH

The original must be in version similar or higher than Word 97. The recommended length is 12 pages (max 3,000 words) including references, printed on A4 paper format, with 2,5 cm for upper, lower and  left margins, 1 cm for right margins, observing 1.5 space between lines and with Times new roman font type, with a 14 point body. 

TITLE- AUTHOR’S IDENTIFICATION

The first page must include author(s) name and affiliation, e-mail; ORCID ID code. If the author doesn’t have an account in ORCID it is obligatory to log in at http://orcid.org/;  It should be written in bold, centered, times new roman, 14 point body.

ABSTRACT /KEYWORDS

Each paper should include brief abstracts in Ukrainian and English which should contain 250-300 words volume is 1800 symbols without spaces preceded by the author’s family and given names, title of the article (in the respective language). The three abstracts should be written in italics with a 10 point body. The following structure is necessary for abstract: Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions. The abstract should include 5-10 key words or words combinations, and none of them can repeat article’s title. 

TEXT

Citation and internal text reference to the source should be carried out by APA style, for example (Smith, 2008); if the page of source is indicated, it is fed through the colon, for example (Smith, 2008: 125). Comments and notes should be included in footnotes. Any examples should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. The article should contain the following parts: introduction; methods; results and discussion; conclusions.

REFERENCES

References should come at the end of the paper. They should be written according to the APA norms with a 14 point body and in alphabetic order. The Ukrainian and Russian references should be written originally, then transcribed in Latin italicized letters and translated below, e.g.

For the editorial board must be filed:

1) An article file and additional image files (an e-mail); in Windows format, version of MS Word ; for illustrations - JPG format, resolution -300 dpi;

2) Іnformation about the author: surname, name, patronymic; academic rank, position, place of work (institution, division) of the author; address; Email; phone.

The editorial board carries out   internal and anonymous review of the article and tests for plagiarism presence. After review the authors receive the payments details for the publication.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • If the paper is submitted to the peer-reviewed journal section, the instructions of Guarantees for Blind Peer Review are followed, when the file is formatted.
  • This article has never been published and submitted to the Editorial board of other journals for reviewing (or the necessary data have to be explained in the comments to the editor).
  • The submission file is a Microsoft Word document.
