Abstract

Self-esteem psychological peculiarities of the persons inclined to suicide are considered in the article. Suicide is examined as an extreme form of despair which can be caused by failures in the attempts of self-realization, and by violation of self-esteem level. Egocentric character of suicides and displays of self-conceptions were analyzed. Classical and contemporary works on this problem were also studied and our own conclusions were made on this theoretical basis.
