Abstract

The article under consideration offers a comprehensive analysis of the issue of higher educational institution teacher professional successfulness assessment. Thus it singles out different approaches to a teacher activity assessment such as personal approach, acmeological approach, job specification approach, social and psychological approach and integrative approach. The objective grade (external, social) and subjective grade (internal, individual, personal) have been outlined in course of research. The article considers such criteria of professional successfulness assessment: successfulness personal strategies; system of competences; teacher personality psychological and axiological peculiarities; professional roles, status, styles; the effectiveness of professional and interpersonal communications; professional self-conception; professional development and self-actualization involving professional resources and personal potential. The reviewed article stresses upon the necessity of expert (external) assessment and teacher’s self-assessment correlation consideration.
