Psychological and Organizational Problems of Teaching Staff Management in Educational Districts

Abstract

The article represents the results of the search phase of the study aimed at determining the level of understanding management features within the teaching staff of educational districts. Proposed by  author questionnaire “The peculiarities of teaching staff management in educational districts” is described; it is directed to determine the specifics of pedagogical staff administration within the educational districts. The degree of understanding the concept of managing the pedagogical staff in educational districts and nature of psychological readiness to pedagogical staff management in these associations was
revealed. It is proved that the heads of educational organizations prefer components that are associated with managing educational district as a whole and consider components that provide management teaching staff to be less significant. It was found that working with teaching staff themajority of managers paid attention to the professional evaluation of subordinates. Heads of educational institutions associate
difficulties in managing teaching staff in educational districts with the level of responsibility and professionalism. It was determined that the nature of psychological readiness to pedagogical staff management is revealed primarily through the qualitative fulfilment of official duties and effectiveness of work. It was proved that psychological readiness of administration to manage teaching staff in educational districts depends on the proportional effects of two groups of factors which, on the one hand, relate to educational institutions activity and, on the other, the management of the head. Innovative organizational forms and teaching methods should be properly chosen for psychological training of teaching staff management.
